"It's A Wonderful Life". I hide my eyes and yell back at the screen every time Uncle Billy forgets where he put the money, and usually tear up when all the money comes flowing in from the town folk at the end, and Donna Reed and her little kids watch the angel ring the bell ornament on the tree.
My family refuse to watch this with me anymore, I'm so fanatic about it. And, no, I[m NOT old enough to have seen it when it first came out in theatres.
Brazil or Blade Runner
My wife loves "It's a Wonderful Life" so we always watch it every year.....But my favorite and my kids favorite is Christmas Vacation. I guess that gives you some insight who is and is not the intellectual in our family
@ All, Nobody in for Scrooge ?
I have to watch these every year or it just isn't Christmas.
Bad Santa!
Otherwise, totally agree with Christmas vacation, Elf, Christmas Story, Its a wonderful life, Charlie brown christmas, and White Christmas.
Yes agree Love Actually.
Blade Runner and Brazil or my go to movies for emotional times.
Xmas Eve tradition is National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. Then Christmas Story anytime.
WHEW!!! I was beginning to think there was no love in the house for the Grinch! But my favorite is actually "The year without a Santa Clause". Can't get enough of Heat Miser and Snow Miser!
I'm ashamed to admit that I've only watched " A Christmas Story" only once. Definitely doing it again this time around!
The funny thing is I do remember one Xmas when my family went out for dinner at a Chinese restaurant, and we were the only Chinese family there. And yes, we did have "Chinese turkey".
Elf is pretty good, I like the snowball fight scene
Thanks to Nemo I've had the Heat Miser song in my head for a few hours!
The Year Without A Santa Claus.
Absolutely the best Christmas movie ever. Full stop. End of story. Thanks for playing.
Cold Miser? He's like the Snoop Dogg of animation. Too cool for words. He's tooo much, you might say.
I agree - this one is my favorite!
I have to admit I don't have a Christmas movie at least nothing is coming to my mind. We ususally watch Christmas Vacation at the in-laws or with my wife and my mother has White Christmas at some point and i always watch a bit with her.
Gordon
LOVE Elf - our kids watch it year round!
When I was younger, I always used to watch "The Sound of Music" and "Wizard of Oz" with my mom while we wrapped presents. They still make me think of Christmas even though they aren't the traditional Christmas movies....
In one word: Yes.
