  • HA HA guys.  I didn't take any pics after it happened but the wife did see it when I got home and you can call her if needed. (she was pretty grossed out).  It has healed too nicely now, if I took pics you'd never think it went in as far as it did.

  • uh huh .....that dog don't hunt where I'm from. We'll just wait for the test results next week.
I'll be in the back row eating popcorn.
  • Just got in from a 10 mile run with my local peeps. 5 miles in the middle at 7:05 avg/35:30.  Holy Crap!! I was the weakest link in our group of 5 and my heavy breathing was the music they listened to. They are hugely supportive of me and a source of constant encouragement!! They are racing a marathon march 6th and they are so fit right now. I LOVE training with them. I know it was not on our schedule but it is a run I do often with them.(Just not this pace...yeah, the fitness is building).

With track Tuesday, Tom Glynn outdoor ride yesterday of 2 1/2 hours and today's run, I am due for some rest. I love rest and recovery days!!

Congrats to everyone hitting paces they have never hit before. This training is hard but when it starts to pay off it is very sweet!

  • Did my first long run of the year in prep for a 1/2 Marathon yesterday. The Plan was to run 3ez then 3 at goal race pace and then 3ez.

Got 9 miles done in 7:30....7 Mins is a little too fast for goal pace but I have 6 weeks to get there.

  • Nice Work Hayes. The first long run of the year is always tough for me... I did mine yesterday as well and my legs are hurting today. Like you said good thing we have 6 more weeks!
