Week 14 run
It was such a great day outside here that I decided I would do my run today and ride tomorrow since I am trying to build up for my Half marathon at the end of the month. So I set out for an 1.5hr run assuming it would be about a 2 hr finish for me since my V-Dot is based from a 5K and i have never ran over 8 miles and before this Os i really never ran more than a 5k.... I was feeling good still aat my 45 min turnaround and got a wild hair to just run 13.1 miles (most likely not the best idea in the long run). To make a long story short I made it home and finished my run in 1:48. I couldnt believe A) that I had just run 13.1 miles and B ) that it was that fast ( never imagined it would be less than 2 hours!!!) Now im pysched and gunna try to take some time of that when im actually racing!! We have some awesome coaching!!! Im now absolutely stoked and for sure an EN believer more so than Ieven was Work Works!!

Congrats, Phillip. Breakthroughs like that are tremendous.

Great job Phillip, can't wait to see your 1/2 marathon results. Have you read about the 1/2 marathon pacing guidance in the Haus yet?
Well worth reading about.
Philip,
Fantastic story; thanks for sharing it. You must be so pumped!
Well done.
@ Philip - sincere congrats bro, you've worked hard and earned this one.
Did my 2 mile WU this morning and hit all my targets. Good luck today team!

Not sure what words are left to describe your run Philp, I'll go west coast & double up on the awesome!!
Break throughs like that are so great when they happen & are even better when your not expecting it.
Felt suprisingly good on the run today despite the bike effort yesterday. Hit all paces right on or below by 5 to 10 seconds and felt good when all done with the intervals so did the last 2 miles in 12:40 right on HMP.
2mile wu, 3 X (1200, 400, 200) with full recoveries between, and 2 mile cool down.
Total 10.001 miles in 1:08:10
I had a long run my upcoming Half Marathon in March. Didn't have much of a plan other than do some work. 11 miles in 1:20:40

Very happy with this run. My stretch goal is 1:30:00, we might have a chance in March!
Yeah Philip! You must be on cloud nine today!
This was my workout for the day:
I shoveled that whole baby out (this pic was taken AFTER a good deal of digging). And you know what? It wasn't hard at all. I even begged to my neighbors to let me help them. I would call that "having fun with your fitness" except it wasn't exactly "fun".
