  Got it, thanks so much! As I prep for the road race, how much of my training should be on road bike vs. tri bike? (The power meter is on the tri bike)

  100% on the road bike. You should be able to move it from the tri bike to the road bike, correct?

  Nope. (Well, at least I don't think so) Road bike is a triple and tri bike is not. I'm sure it can be done but not sure how much more complicated/expensive that makes things?

  If PT, it's a non-issue, as simple as swapping wheels. If Quarq, it might be worth looking into it, as it would be great if you could have power on both bikes. I'm not sure what, if any, changes you need to have made to the front deraileur and left shifter to move from a triple to double chainrings.

  PowerTap. I didn't think you could swap a wheel from a triple to a double, but maybe I misunderstood whoever told me that....

  Do both bikes have 9spd or 10spd? IOW, do the cassettes on the rear wheel have the same number of cogs on them? If yes, then it's very simple, as easy as moving the wheel from bike to bike. You may have some issues with the shifting but an LBS could take care of that for you, at it's just a tuneup issue.
  
  Just take both bikes over to your bike shop, with the PT wheel, and say "I want to be able to use this rear wheel on both bikes. What's that going to cost me? Make it so, yo :-)"

  That is an excellent question. So now that I'm thinking this through, when i bought the Felt B16, I had them take the rear PT wheel off road bike and out on Felt. Not sure if they swapped out the cassettes to do that but apparently, it can be done. Somehow. I'll deal with that in sept. thanks Rich! I registered for Jamestown Road Race so I guess it's official!
