  I'm staying at Hampton Inn West Lubbock. I'm coming with the family, 1yr old, 5yr old, and 7yr old. I think I'm more stressed about them then the race Looking forward to my first trip to West Texas!

  Team Leventhal has rented a place through VRBO in Slaton - just southeast of the lake. It'll be me, my bride & our six kiddos. Always a party when we all show up for one of my races!

  @ David Wow 6 kids!  My hat's off to you!  I'm still trying to figure out how to coordinate family and racing.  It hadn't even occurred to me to reserve a house, next time I'll probably go that route.  Thanks for you post

  @Luna - yeah...traveling with kids is half art / half science. For the races where we've taken all six kids we did a house at Coure de Alene last year (which was great) and a condo at Galveston this year (which was also perfect). We've gotten a hotel in Austin the last two years but I may try VRBO for that trip this year...if I end up doing Austin again.
