So for all you folks doing a race without its own dedicated forum, what races are you doing?  I'm doing the Patriot Half in Mass in June.

    Welcome everyone! How is training going? I'm feeling a bit torn and all over the place at the moment. I have a half Mary April 23, some bike races in May then Patriot Half in June. You'd think training for the half iron would kind of cover all the bases but the timing of the other races makes it challenging. Doing the best I can...

    Kim it is hard for me to believe that you can get all this done. Just looked over my training log and I am doing about 85% of my work outs which makes me very anxious because three years ago...my last 70.3... I did more than 90% of the workouts this far out. Work, travel for work and family keep making it impossible....last night's east coast storms kept me on the plane for 4 hours waiting to take off so run two of the day didn't get done! Landed at 11 pm. Snow last weekend also kept me on the trainer and not on the road. Hopefully it will all settle down soon.

    Terry- This year is a bit of an experiment. I've been focusing on the bike since Nov. with a little running (increasing the running the past couple of months for half mary) to see how that shakes out. The April half mary is just a training run (and a way to force me to start running more for the HIM) I have really enjoyed my cycling focus and will go back to that once the HIM is done.

    I think 85% is pretty good! Especially if you are hitting the key sessions. I think you'll be surprised....
