I just drop off my bike to Tri Bike Transport, I cant believe that we only have 11 days left to race :-) Let's get it done

My bike is on the way too-someone actually asked me what I was going to do without a bike! My husband almost fell over laughing when he said "She has 6 other ones to ride!"

I have another bike but I'm not sure I know how to ride without my power tap anymore

I also have a road bike but every bike is unique and I love my TT bike

Just picked up my Serotta from it's final tune up. They dscovered the shifting issue was related to a slight bend of derailluer hanger. Got my Zipp 404 with it's brand new Pro+ hub so I'm now on Zipps through the race(yes I now have two powertap wheels, definitely power converted

also picked up my Edge 500. New toys, yeah

Hi IMSG peeps!

Steve and I are very excited for this race. We actually are almost fully packed as we are leaving Sunday to drive there and wanted to be all packed before my folks fly to Cali from Mass on Thursday. Once they arrive I want to enjoy their company and not be busy packing. Good Lord there is alot of stuff to pack when you will be gone over a week and have a child and grandparents coming along. We will look like the Beverley Hill Billy's driving to Utah with a truck filled to the brim:-).

I am excited to see the course, practice riding and running on it and testing out the swim.

Today I was busy planning the IronPrayer Service that will be held Thursday at 4pm. I was able to locate a church in SG willing to host it(so cool!!) The pastor was so excited to get involved. The city is excited to host the IM. I will be helping to put on the event and give a little talk to help encourage the racers. This is always the highlight of the week of every IM I do. If any of you are interested in going just let me know. There will be fliers at registration also.

We have really wound down our training and we are both digging the rest. I love the taper!!

Seriously people....let's get this thing going! My drama today was dropping my garmin and having the face of it shatter!! Honestly. Taking a full rest day tomorrow due to work commitments (I don't recommend taking a promotion a few weeks out from IM) and looking forward to being on our way on Wednesday.

Are we really doing flipping Ironman in 11 days??? How did this happen?
