Like @Sheila Leard I've been playing with modeling a few upcoming races in BBS and then riding them in TR to get a feel for how the legs feel after the ride. I've "ridden" an upcoming sprint tri as well as the BBS model of the 70.3 Coeur D'Alene course, and in both cases BBS has the max 2 min power set too high. This was a key learning for me. I went in a set a lower ceiling in BBS for max power, and re-run the model with lower peak power. I plan to use the BBS model in Garmin Power on my 1030 on race day.
This is a great thread. I was just playing around with BBS because I used it to create the course to ride on TR. A ton of information that answered every question I was considering when looking at it. Thanks to @Doug Sutherland and all of the other WSMs for their thoughts.
