Looking for a ride from Chicago to Madison

No, I'm not riding my bike to madison for the race, but the thought did cross my mind

Any chance that anyone is going to be driving up to Madison late Friday night or early Saturday morning on race weekend?

Theresa and Abigail don't want to head up until Saturday afternoon, and I of course want to do at least the Saturday morning ride (swim would be nice as well).  It would be awesome if someone was going that way and had room for me and a bike.

    Matt, I am going on Friday am. Not sure if that is feasible for you..
    I do have space for a bike as well.

    Will you have a bike? or lots of stuff? My daughter and her boyfriend will be driving from Sandwich. They plan on being in Madison in time for the athlete dinner.

     Matt has a point  - you even sound off.....

    In all cases, you can always send your bike and stuff with me in the morning, and grab it from me in the evening (you can take the bus, or ride with somebody who does not have space for everything later in the day)

    one thing I have to warn you though. I can not take responsibilty for your bike mysteriously disappearing if you are a 5-11.....

    If all else fails, and you can send stuff with Hasan, Kelsey and Phil can wait around for you, I'm sure. Let me know. They don't have to be there for the dinner.

    Matt - Mike & our 11 yr old are heading up late on Friday. Can you connect with him on FB to see if it would work out?  If I take bikes on Thursday they should be able to get yours in the trunk.

    So I'm a little slow as I couldn't figure out why you all thought I didn't feel good and sounded off. Doh ... thanks for the suggestion, but can't take Friday off when I have monday off and 2 weeks off in October. Unfortunately I still have a day job in addition to triathlon.

    You guys are awesome and I apprecaite all of the offers and willingness to change plans around just for me.

    Heather, I'm going send Mike a message and see if that works out on Friday night.

    I am driving to madtown on Friday am, with my best friend, who is flying in late thursday night. I have a Rav4, so can easily fit 2 extra bikes in my car, considering that only 2 poeple are gonna be in the car. This might free u guys up to go with some other people (sheryl's daughter, Heather's husband). Jeff, my girlfriend might also be coming on Friday night/Saturday am, so will keep u posted to the exact details on how she's gonna get up there - that's still up in the air...
