 I will be in AZ Friday Sep 17th -- morning for work and was planning on checking out the course in the afternoon.  Does anybody want me to check out anything specific?  Let me know!

    Dan, how did the roads look for the bike course? Smooth? How about the run course, are there a ton of turns through neighborhoods etc? IMFL was pretty crazy with a ton of turns. When you looked down the road all the runners looked like a bunch of ants working on their ant hill!

    Greg - the road looked a little good, except for all the glass and furniture on the side of the road on the Beeline Hwy. I iamgine they will give it a sweep before the race. I was going to ride when I was down there but temp was 110!

    Flat out of transition leads to a steady uphill to the turnaround. With 3 laps to do I have been trying to mimic this in my training for mental preparedness.

    I didn't get a chance to look at the run.

    I hope they sweep it. I read somewhere that some past races had a lot of cactus needles blown on to the road. I bought new tires for my race wheels yesterday to minimize the chance of a flat.
