Pictures!
Hi folks
The ability to post pictures to our forum is now up and running! If you are so inclined, post a few pics so we can get to know you better. And if you still haven't introduced yourself, please do so in the introductions, please topic. Thanks!
Here is my family. My wife, Deb, is a group cycling instructor and comes out to play with me two or threee times a year by doing a sprint duathlon (she hates the rough and tumble of tri swims). From left to right: Eric is a freshman at Miami University, OH studing Chinese and loving it. Mark is a HS junior and a gymnast so has the best abs in the family. Aimee loves dance and piano and is taking voice lessons. Brian is a junior graphic design major at Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, OH.
In February, I challenged my brother Rick (on the left), who lives in Dayton, OH, to come out to do a triathlon with me. Here we are at the race we did at Maumee Bay (near Toledo), OH. I am excited for him to get into training and racing. We did a half marathon together in October and he plans a full marathon in the spring, a summer Olympic triathlon, and a fall century ride.
Finally, Deb and I went to see Brian in Columbus in October and he introduced us to slacklining. Has anyone done this? I got up to about a dozen steps but it was fun and great for balance.

Santa was great to me! I got much needed running socks (5 pairs!) and a hat for outdoors, and an IOU for a powertap wheel which is coming in March when Mr. Claus' cash flow improves. So all was good, and i just had an awesome bike watching Die Hard (one of my favourite xmas movies) with my daughter, so Christmas is good in our haus.

Hi Jane. You have to use "Add Reply" rahter than "Quick Reply." It is above the quick reply box on the left. Once you click on Add Reply, then:
1) look below the content box and below the Submit, Cancel, Preview, buttons for the "Attachments" row. Click on the arrow to the right.
2) It will open to a browse box. Hit the browse button and then go find the pictures you want to post. Click on Upload and that will load in to the My Files tab.
3) Go to the My Files tab and then click on the green plus sign that says Add File to Post. That moves the file over to Current Attachments
4) Go to the Current Attachments tab to see the files you selected in the My Files tab. Click on Insert Image to insert the picture into your post.
5) Click Submit and hopefullly it works!
I followed my own directions above and it worked again. Try it and let me know!

okay scott, for the life I me I cannot get my images to come over from my files to current attachments...
Ok, this is a test to see if I can post:
So it is still working, Jane. Go to my Files and click on the green plus sign. That moves it to Current Attachments. Go there and click on Insert Image which is the fourth row over. When you click that it should insert the image in your post. Try again and let me know. If it doesn't you can go to the tech admin forum for help, I think they have a little video demo of the steps. Thanks for being so persistent!

Great photos, Scott! I have never tried slackening, but a soccer coach friend of mine used to set it up after practice. The little kids really loved watching him. You've got a great looking family! You have inspired me to give posting some pics a try.

ok, Scott, I am really not that computer illiterate, I swear! But I have uploaded a photo to my files. When I click the green plus sign to "add file to post" nothing happens. I check back in current attachments and there's nothing there. I am on a mac and tried it on safari and firefox, no dice.
are you on a pc or mac? I tried to preview it as well and nothing loads, just keeps thinking.
