  • I just added weight training and two masters swim classes to my schedule. The hardest part was waking up at 4:30am to get to masters! I am sore, but I know this will only help for my first IM. I am at week 10 of OS starting January. I'm looking forward to those long 3hr bike rides, as the days get longer! Look out CDA IM here I come!
  • @Linda...weights and swimming on top of OS is something you need to pay close attention to. Remember, first things first, if you start to miss main sets due to fatigue it is the weights and the swimming that need to go...really, at this point, the weights. The next few weeks of OS get really hard...and weights are going to do much positive for you in the next 14 weeks before CdA. At least, they won't be as good for you as hitting your workouts.

    Just be careful...I struggled when I added swimming after about 3 weeks; and I have tried in all 3 OSs that I have done.
