If You Ain't on the Spreadsheet...
...You Ain't In Da Game! Get In Da Game Here.
Seriously; joining this group was step one, like raising your hand when someone asks "who wants to stay fit over the holidays??" Anybody can do that, and 86 of you have (Cool!). Step two is to sign up for the spreadsheet, where we'll track your actual data. This tells me you might actually _run_ over the holidays! You can do that here. Of course, step three will be to actually run, but think BABY STEPS for now.
The reason for for me to keep such a serious eye trained on you, you ask? I woke up this morning to find out that EN NorCal member, run rock star and all-round nice guy Mike Hedman has smacked me across the face with his proverbial sweaty run shorts...he has dared me to get everyone signed up for the challenge to register on the spreadsheet...for if they do, HE WILL RUN A MILE FOR EVERY PERSON WHO PARTICIPATES. He did this knowing we have 86 folks pre-registered....the man is ready to run 86 miles in a week...why not make it 100? or 150? Can we break Mike?
There's only one way to find out --- join the spreadsheet. Get your friends on the Team to play. Nothing says "Happy Holidays" like "Honey, I know it's 9pm and 15-degrees outside, but there's this challenge see, and if I do it, we might really put the hurt on this guy Mike who lives in NorCal...be right back, okay?"
Game on!

oooh, thanks for that reminder. We plan to be in MD & WV for Christmas so I'll be running in Tundra country- gotta get some extra points for my Chickas!
Patrick, Patrick, Patrick...
It's Dec 23, two days until show time, and you still haven't even hit 100 people
.
I'll see if Amazon.com can air-freight this timely tome to you before Christmas:
No sub-32 bonus points in south Texas. I expect a few points for heat index come August.
Charles, there are bonus points for miles run, hours run, miles at threshold pace, etc. Check out the rules post: endurancenation.us.dnnmax.com/Commu...fault.aspx
Mike
Off to a good start this Christmas morning. Hit the roads at 6:00 am 24 Degrees here in NH, but fortunately very little wind. Felt good so I just kept going, just me on the roads today, I think I saw only 2-3 cars during my 2 hour 15 mile run.
That adds up to 18 points, My Christmas present to myself. Feeling good and ready for the rest of the day now.
Hope you all have a great day and enjoyable run.
Miserable performance for me! Would have been worse if the challenge wasn't on.
