A few reasons come to mind,
Its the site of the most famous US Hockey Game EVER where a bunch of young unknow kids beat the Soviet team...U--S--A,U--S--A, U--S--A...

We have ski jumps...does anyone else have ski jumps...I think not.

Don't forget a Bar with a Bobsled sitting out front. Have not seen that anywhere else.

Only IM with multiple weather systems in a single day. The amazing descent. The killer hill into town. Awesome restaurants right there.
