I think I'm Out for 2011

Tri-malleolar fracture of my right ankle. Ouch.

Slipped going down the stairs for my Sunday bike ride. Needless to say, no Eagleman for me this year. Already have a plate and a handful of screws holding me together. In a few weeks it will be time to think about rehab and picking a race for next year! /sigh

Remember: Gravity is a harsh mistress!

Be awesome out there! I'm jealous I won't be able to race with you... at least not until closer to fall.

All is not lost! I think I can get my registration transferred over to the ChesapeakeMan Aquavelo ... I may not be able to run by late September but if I'm lucky and don't push too hard at the beginning, I may be able to ride for 112. A lot depends on the next few weeks but you've got to have dreams. Right?
