Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for making this a great race. Couldn't have had a better team out there. We had some tough races but for the most part we pulled through it and supported each other. Can't think of anything we could have done better besides going a little faster. I'm proud of each one of you and was honored to be your race race captain.
Ditto - I was thinking the other day how much better the Ironman experience was being part of a team like EN than it would have been doing the Ironman solo. Thanks to everyone for the support over the last few months training and during race week.
Well Done Mate - Lots of fun and it was great to be part of the EN team. Seeing all the EN teammates on the run was motivating - I remember walking at the end of an aid station and seeing a teammate ahead coming toward me....was enough inspiration in may head to say - gotta run with a teammate coming!...
Thanks as well to Starkman for all the great team racing efforts he's adding. Looking forward to the next one...!!
Yes, a big belated thanks to Tucker especially, but to all on the team @ CDA. As Allen says, no matter one's personal outcome or goals, having this team aorund us makes the whole thing BETTER.
I have not gotten to all of the race reports yet, as I hit myself with 54 hours of work last Wednesday thru Monday (someone has to deliver the holiday babies), so If you missed anyone, it's not cause I don't care, I just haven't had time to surface.
Thanks to our captain, Tucker, and assistant captain, Pete, for all that they did to make this race even better. It was awesome to have so many teammates racing along side me.
Also, a special thanks to Dr. Truscott for delivering my niece, Zane, who was born on Saturday morning. I couldn't believe it when I saw Al walk out of the delivery room after Zane was born.
Thanks Tucker for your efforts and the time you invested into IMCDA to help make all of our experiences better. The EN experience is definately the way to go when it comes to these big races.
