I'm looking at this OS schedule thinking....
awesome....!!!!!!!! No more 2 hour indoor trainer rides in zone 2, like I used to do. Wow, intensity, work, focus!......................... I like it....a lot. As @Kitima said in another post 3 hour mind-numbing/soul-sucking trainer rides in Dec that I used to do

I used to do the 3 hour triainer rides too. No going back!
I'm soooooo happy those 3 hour trainer rides (followed by a 20 min run) are in my distant past!
You guys are lucky. Last winter I did multiple 4 hour trainer rides. It was MISERABLE! I too am excited about the focus AND the reduction in hours. The SAU concept will hopefully be well received and noticed... I really wore myself thin last year. Started in January and didn't come out the back end with the goals I was really trying to reach. I have big hopes for this year!
@Tom I liked "the garage" rides last year but sure won't miss packing up my bike and taking comp time every Saturday or Sunday I work.
I actually have a friend who was training for IM CdA this year do 8 hours trainer rides in her garage. WTF!?
That will build your "mental" six pack.
Um-could she walk normally after that? And I ain't talkin' 'bout the legs!
she need a lobotomy to use it though
Seriously!!! I'd consider that some form of Domsestic Abuse!!!
Never ever...ever. I don't think I've even done 8hrs on the road. The double Metric century at Mountains of Misery last year might have been in that ballpark but that was fun, not training.
