CALLING ALL CARS. IMLP in 8 days, and my LBS tuning up my bike today shows me a huge crack in my brand new $2100 Zipp 404 Clydesdale build rear wheel with PowerTap built by wheelbuilder, who is closed for weekend! Strauss, anybody, what are odds he can build and overnight a replacement!?!? Holy freaking shit.

    Not sure it will help you, but I have a mavic open pro power tap you are welcome to use as an emergency backup plan.

    @JL: I have a PT rear wheel but it's not Zipp... it's a DT Swiss RR585. I'll be there volunteering, not racing. You're welcome to use it if you want/need it.

    ?Wheelbuilder.com doing a stat warranty swap/rebuild because they freaking rock! They said looks like a spoke-hole collapse, covered by Zipp. The shipping timing windows are a little tight, but we'll make it happen.

    That's great to hear. 

    Like Paul I will be in LP with my bike and if there are any issues people are welcome to my 700c power tap, non aero 30mm rim.  Sorry no wheel cover but I just changed the batteriers on the LYC and the hub.
