IMLou peeps: congrats on your race!

I know that several of you rented one of these gadgets for the race. Did it work as advertised? Did your family find it valuable?

Let me know, I'll see if I can hook up a team discount for IMWI and the other races!

The little GPS box fell out of the flimsy clear plastic/velcro pouch somewhere in T1. My tracking signal said I never left transition, and the resolution wasn't fine enough to help me find the little box after the race. I've only been able to get in contact with MyAthlete via e-mail, and they suggested waiting "a few days to see if it turns up at IM lost and found. If not it's normally a $200 fee to cover the loss." Well, I hope it shows up...... or they invest the $200 in making better pouches.

Yeah...that's an expensive pouch! Maybe help things with $.002 of ductape?

Anyone else with opinions?
