Team Dinner

I am heading to Phoenix this weekend for 10 days. I will be scouting locations for the team dinner and breakfast. They will both be in the Tempe area. I am planning the dinner for Thursday at 6:00. I am also planning a happy hour on Friday at 6:00. The Ironman athlete dinner is Friday at 5:30 and the athlete meeting is at 7:30. This way virtually everyone (except Scott A. I think) can make the dinner without regard to race-related scheduling conflicts. For those that want to go to the Ironman festivities, especially the first-timers, they can stop by the bar before, between, or after if they choose to.

Please make sure you all keep your race spreadsheet info updated so that I can give the restaurants accurate head counts for the reservations.

Keep up the good work, everyone! Make sure you post your RR #2 plans into the race execution discussion thread in the forums some time in the next week or so and then post RR reports in same place afterwards. Two weeks until taper!

@Terry- just found out that we aren't flying in until Thursday night late. I will update the team info sheet to reflect this. Great idea for a get together Friday night so those of us that will miss the Thursday dinner can meet the team.

OK- after 20 minutes of looking for the Team race information sheet, I give up. It's not on Race Central like it used to be. Can someone provide a link, so I can update my info.

@ Andrew - that's actually my first choice. Used to love to eat there when I lived in Phoenix and I ate there after the race last year.
