  • Michael, that looks like a pretty solid first FTP test to me. Awesome job! I'm assuming you did the 2' rest interval in between the two 20' intervals, correct?

    As far as posting results goes, that's about what I typically post. You could try taking a screen shot of your power over the entire 42' test and post the picture, but I've never tried that so I'm not sure how that would work.
  • Thanks! Yep, took the two minutes and then cranked things into high gear. I'm really gonna love this shit.
  • Yeah power is whole new animal. Looks great.
  • First FTP test of the OS is done. FTP is 202. It feels good to still be above 200! Here are the stats:

    First 20 minute interval:

    Work = 234 kJ

    Normalized Power = 192

    VI = 1.00

    Power: Min = 21, Max = 259, Ave = 192

    HR: Min = 141, Max = 172, Ave = 163

    Cadence: Min = 48, Max = 100, Ave = 91

    Second 20 minute interval:

    Work = 260 kJ

    Normalized Power = 214

    VI = 1.00

    Power: Min = 0, Max = 278, Ave = 214

    HR: Min = 155, Max = 187, Ave = 177

    Cadence: Min = 50, Max = 114, Ave = 88

    Total 42 minute test:

    Work = 513 kJ

    Normalized Power = 202

    VI = 1.01

    Power: Min = 0, Max = 278, Ave = 200

    HR: Min = 141, Max = 187, Ave = 169

    Cadence: Min = 48, Max = 114, Ave = 90

  • Nice job Scott!!! I can't help but notice how slow my cadence was compared to your's and how I really need to get that dialed in with my workouts before my next test. Your cadence is pretty much optimal.
