  • and .....@ Mike .... Great win Buckeyes !!! : )
  • So today probably finds me in worse shape that Thursday and probably officially sick but I just don't want to admit it.  Nice job getting the workouts in.  I'll be back to workouts but probably not until Tuesday.

  • I got the bike in early today. Again it took a bit to get the HR going but it went fine. I still wish I could be a bit more precise but I need to talk to Santa about a power meter to get that done. All in all it went fine with another 10 in Z3 for good measure.
  •  Have to hand it to OSU today. The better team won. 'Til next year

  • Amazingly, despite travel and distractions, I got all the assigned workouts in this week. Had to switch things around, but finished today with run/bike.

Did 25 min on the treadmill with 10'@7:30, 10'@7:10, followed by 55' on the trainer with W/up followed by MS of 8, 10, 12 @ .97.

Have to admit, I wasn't excited about the workout, but instead of thinking about he entire thing en total, I broke each segment down into manageable bites. Sometimes these bites were as small as to "hang on and count to 50". Just the mental exercise of grinding through I think is beneficial and banks good experience for when difficult sessions present themselves in the future. The overarching strategy remains to try and build the best engine to drive on race day.

Keep up the good work everyone!

@Gordon:  Hang in there...  I find that most of the winter season is spent managing energy levels that are suboptimal due to grinding colds that seem to linger.
