I'm in, call me crazy. I am hoping my first IM in Cozumel on 12/1/13 will go well, and I will be happy I am alredy signed up for another. Once I am on the hook I will do it, if I have to crawl.
Dave, we sent a couple emails out to the team asking you, if you were interested in early registration for IMChoo, to submit your names and email addy's via a form. We gave that information to WTC yesterday (our deadline) and they have sent those folks an email today with instructions on how to register early.
^This^ is a direct product of us dominating the tri club competition race after race.
Ok. Don't listen to me then, I'm not very involved in this process, just want to give you guys a place to begin to talk up the race and get an idea of how many of you will/have/plan on registering so we can lean forward towards '14.
Separate email with sign up instructions will be coming.
Quote from 1st email: You will be receiving an email from the World Triathlon Corporation – active.com – with “VIP Entry for IRONMAN Chattanooga” in the subject line. This email should be going out today. These are your registration instructions.

Folks don’t panic if you do not receive the email instructions this evening. We had some last minute additions to our list and you may not receive your registration instructions until tomorrow.

I was like why have they changed my last name????? LOL I did email her though just before she sent out the message. I thought it was isolated just to me.
For those of you with last names in the alphabet H through Z, you had no idea that we had a huge issue with our Active upload today. But for those of you (approx. 400 of you ? who did) basically what happened was the first group of athletes received their registration instructions with the wrong last name.
We have fixed the issue (fingers crossed) and you should all be receiving a registration email today.
We did get some email addresses rejected (maybe the wrong emails were sent to us). If you have a friend or club mate who this evening tells you that they did not get the registration email today (and you did), please have them email me at triclub@ironman.com over the weekend and we will try again to send the email out.
If you are part of the first group with the wrong names but still were able to register, we need to know who you are so please email me the correct information so we can change your registration in our records here. Please note that you ARE registered.
Again so sorry for the fire drill/dry run/ practice mass email!! Today has been kind of like that training ride when you have five flats, and it’s raining and you have to hitch hike with your bike back to your car. Thanks for the ride BTW!

There is a link on the actual web site, but I think after you register you will get a code to get in. Right now it is not populated with anything. I checked out the area and there a plenty of good hotels in downtown and surrounding areas.
