I just did hotel reservations following the links on the website. https://resweb.passkey.com/Resweb.do?mode=welcome_ei_new&eventID=10740819 I selected "Attendee" on the "guest type" and didn't need a code or anything. Staying at the Chattanooga Choo Choo mostly because the name is fun to say.
Registered today. The funny thing is I will be doing Ironman Wisc first. Looking forward to the challenge. Going to make this like a science experiment. The funny thing is what is I PR on the CHoo course????
You all had me worried. I sent the names and addresses that were sent to Patrick via the form, so all should be good. I am glad I continued to read on. I was so worried for ya Paula.
Thanks Brenda... despite the confusion I also traded emails with WTC and they were very helpful! Really looking forward to this race and joining this massive team effort
I'm registered! Its nice to get this early entry. Thanks Team EN and Brenda! Can anyone recommend a good half iron to compliment this race not too far from Georgia?
I wasn't going to do it, but I signed up. After all, the missus said "No Ironman Vacation," not "No Ironman." That said, I now have to beg forgiveness but she is such an awesome person that it will all be fine especially as I will come in on Fri and fly out on Mon. Kids are in school so no one will miss me.
"Congratulations! You are now registered for the 2014 IRONMAN Chattanooga."
@Jodi - A good race to consider is the Macon Rock-N-Rollman 1/2-iron the first weekend of June. Since IMChoo is so late in the season, I am thinking that RnR will be a good break-up point for the year and allow two "A" races.
I just registered as well. This will hopefully be my 2nd IM as I am registered for Florida. I have lived all my life in Chattanooga and can't believe we are getting an IM! That is awesome! It is a year away, but whenever needed I can give suggestions on restaurants and hotels. The Choo-Choo is of course good or the Chattanoogan. Also, about 10 minutes away is a Hyatt Place that is connected to a Ruths Chris Steakhouse and is conveniently located around tons of shopping and restaurants.

@Rachel - I tried that but couldn't select the dates. They were grayed out when I tried a few minutes ago.
@Paula - Is it giving you an error of some sort or just won't let you continue? I missed inputting my phone number the first time.
I finally got it... I ended up rebooting. Thanks! Now I just have to figure out how to train for hills in flat as a pancake South Florida!!

I'm on a waiting list for the Residence Inn Marriott -- It was not one of the the hotels on the visitors bureau site -- Hopefully it works out.
I'm in as well. Should be a great event. EN Mojo domination!
I am at the Fairfield Inn Lookout Mt. 10 minutes away, wanted to enjoy the view. I can't believe the way this stuff is booking up already!
