I'm ready and relieved at the same time.... training has been good and I am feeling ready.... relieved to be done longbikes and longruns for the year with the exception of the race.
Very nervous! Excited, yet apprehensive. Unfortunately, NOT hungry! I've continued to put on pounds since IMLP! Weddings, anniversaries, house guests, etc. lots of opportunities to eat! I was very lean for IMLP and had hoped to be like that again.
My last RR Saturday went well. "Six hours or 112 miles, whichever comes first," meant 91 very hilly miles on a perfect, crisp fall day, followed by a six mile run.
The borrowed Zipp 404's wouldn't fit my QR CD0.1, but a LBS lent me some Reynolds Assaults. And, after being loaned 3 illegal swim skins, I finally borrowed a ROKA Pro. It's a tad large, but should work. So, hopefully, I'm all set with gear.
