Posted By Paul Hough on 16 Nov 2013 10:49 AM Thx Ray. Just goes to show that I don't use either. What is so great about Trainer Road? What does it do? Is it computer based?
@Paul, last year I put up a wiki entry to answer questions like this on Trainer Road.
There's also a wikimpost about hownthe EN OS workouts are all available on the TR website. I.m kind of a curmudgeon ( remember, I still race on a 15 y/o round tube bike), but I wholeheartedly endorse TR for the OS. There may be some, but I have yet to hear from any EN member who thought TR was not worth the $30-40 it costs to use during OS.
Rather than try to explain more, I suggest that after IM COZ, you check it out and give it a try if/when you start the OS. Worst case, you're out $10, and I think they have a money back if dissatisfied policy. It's like EN ... they offer a service you didn't know you needed, but never would have been able to appreciate without a test drive.
I just wanted to say that I LOVE using trainerroad with these workouts… it is giving me the immediate feedback on gear selection, power, cadence and my HR/effort. THANKS for making all of these available!
