EN Secret Santa

2013 Secret Santa Is LIVE!  Let's Get The Festivities Started

This is a fun annual tradition where we send stuff to one another. It’s part of what makes Endurance Nation such a great place...but it’s totally optional.

Here are the details:

  • Sign-up by December 9th @ 9:00 PST

  • Include all requested form information – most importantly the Additional Information section (food allergies, shirt size, etc.)

  • Commit to spending around $30 USD

  • Mail your present no later than Dec 16 so that your gift arrives before Dec 25.

This is a Secret Santa dealio.  However, if you would like to make yourself known to the recipient, feel free.

Previous Gift Ideas:

  • Silly triathlon things to real ones (Swim cap, pink speedo)

  • Unique holiday mugs / ornaments, etc.

  • Tshirts from your famous town, etc.

I (Brenda) will be working behind the scenes on Dec 12th.  I will email each person on the 12th the name and address of the person they are buying for. I will include the Additional Information to help with your buying decision. If you are playing along and do not receive an email by the end of day on the 12th, please email me at brenda@endurancenation.us, but first check your SPAM folder, just in case it went in there.

Please note: If you don’t sign up to be someone’s Secret Santa, then YOU DON’T GET A SECRET SANTA.

Register using this online form and let’s have some fun with this!

P.S. When you get your gift, share with us on this thread what you received. Its always fun to hear what everyone got. Pictures are very much encouraged.

Thanks Team

  • Ola' SS Peeps!

I received a GREAT gift box w/ Hammer Gel, a "BIKE" decal, a post-training/racing book: "The Party Animal" and a cool t-shirt, among other things.

Thanks you Kristen - I appreciate it very much!

    Happy Holidays :-)
  • pics please Woody.
  • Got mine yesterday. 2 fabulous bottles of red wine that now fill my reds section in my wine cellar. Thanks to George Berkeley!

(PS: how do I post a picture?)
  • To post a pic, you have to use the "Add Reply" button vs. jsut using the "Quick Reply" text box.
  • How do I attach the picture? Cut and past?
  • To Whom It May Concern:

If you live in Canada and think Santa may have gotten lost along the way...

I read and tried to comply with the rules. However, it turned out to be impossible to have the reindeer deliver your gift directly since I live in the U.S. and you live in Canada. You can order it or I can order it, but I can't order it for you! So please forgive poor Santa and blame the crazy companies that apparently don't want to deal with customs. I hope the post office delivers on schedule and, if not, that you think it is worth any wait! Thanks for your understanding.

    Best regards,

    S. Claus

  • Hey Secret Santa! Thanks for the EN towel and the EN Coffee cup! They are both so very cool looking and exactly what I needed!
  • Mary, you click on attachment, and then upload the pic. Once it is uploaded you click for it to be pasted into your reply. Hope that helps.
  • I would like to thank my secret Santa for the 2 wonderful books!  Can't wait to read them.  It was a book on Ironman that was my initial inspiration to do one!

  • My secret Santa must know I love dogs, especially rescues cuz I got this super cute paw print sweatshirt and earbuds. And it benefits rescue pups! Thanks Melissa!!

  • I might of helped out some secret santas with additional notes about people I knew in the haus who were not generous enough to provide information other than - no food allergies and I wear a size medium :-)
  • Brenda- Whoops! That would have been me. image Thanks for the help. In the spirit of "secret", I gave NO information. LOL

  • Woody -  Thanks so much for the great cookbooks! I really needed inspiration for new healthy recipes. The "portable" recipes are great and will be perfect for training and lunch at work. I also love reading & collecting cookbooks.

  • Thank you Secret Santa for the RoadID gift card. Perfect!
  • Secret Santa Rocks !!!

I received a the AWESOME Superman workout shirt above (hope it gives me super powers) and very useful electrolyte tabs!!!!  Thank You Secret Santa!

  • That shirt is BOSS!
  • My Secret Santa sent me PART 3!   It's like Santa really exists!

Part 3 is an "International Swimming Hall of Fame" Safer Swimmer device - it's an inflatable orange buoy that you attach to a rope which attaches to a belt... it creates visibility in open water so that lifeguards or others (e.g. people in kayaks/other boaters) can see that there is a human out there swimming!

In addition... you can put your STUFF IN THERE (e.g., keys, wallet) and it stays dry and you keep it with you!  This is sweet....

This is AWESOME cause I'm going to be an OWS Maniac this year!

    Thanks Secret Santa!!!

  • You will love it. Our club uses them when we do open water sessions.
  • I am seriously considering wearing this for my 1/2-marathon in two weeks:

And these will definitely come in handy Before, During, and After this race....and many others

    Thanks "Triple-S"  (Secret Santa Shannon)

(argggh...can't get the second picture to load/display --- it is Wipes, BagBalm, and EpsomSalts)
