Hello again!!! I am getting into the new 2017 EN half minimalist plan. I have a quick question on the Sunday split runs. In the overview video you alluded to Sundays being a time needed for family and other things. Even though I am a DINK, it's true for me too. So - is there a way to do one long run Sundays instead of two? Realistically I know I won't be able to get two separate runs in. Do I add the two time targets together into one run...? Thank you!!!!!!
BRING IT. And also, BRING ME to SF. Your workouts will be ten times more effective with me running in shorts next to you.
Remember, it's not the adherence to the plan itself that helps you achieve your goal. The plan is a tool you use to create conditions for that goal to be achieved...but it's not the only way.
Hi! Need help for this week!! I am in the intermediate minimalist Iron Man plan, week one. I'm looking at the Saturday ride and the second main set says to go for 2.5 hours at goal Iron Man pace, "low zone five." Uhhhmmmm... i'm sorry I can't hold over 200 W for 2 1/2 hours. Is this a typo? Should this be a different zone? Maybe Low zone three? Thx!!!
HI!! I have a new micro question, pretty please! I am in week 9 of the intermediate IM training plan for IMAZ on Nov 19th. Week 10 is the last very important race rehearsal (falls on November 4/5 weekend). It is forecast to rain all that weekend and then my travel schedule is a bit nutty. My question is this: *how to get this final race rehearsal in*?
Back information is that I did the 70.3 in Tempe last weekend (don't ask how I ended up there) BUT - good race and got a slot to South Africa. I do not feel wrecked now. Swam twice and hit my bike zones this morning. Is it ok to tackle the race rehearsal this weekend when it is not yet supposed to rain? I can also likely get the race rehearsal on Friday Nov 10th but that is nine days before the race (M-Thurs that week are out due to work stuff). If you could let me know whether to push it to earlier or later that would be great! Thank you so much for your help!!!
Oh my God, I saw that note about the slot to South Africa on the dashboard and I presumed it was a different person with your name! You are so funny.
Yes, please move the race rehearsal after this weekend as it will help you recover for the race. We don’t need to do anything flashy, we are just looking for consistency here and a really solid last hour to every bike. Let me know how it goes!
Haa! Thank you! Well, race rehearsal was fine, and THEN I got sick. Too much go go go after the 70.3. Was in denial for a few days and then another few to actually get better. Now it's all pretty much gone and I am heading into race week for my A race: IMAZ! *wiggle*

Can you please got to the "All Things Plans" forum and put the specifics on there so I can fix it?
Good luck!!!
