when is the race for next year..the date needs to be condusive to my schedule

 its a deciding factor if i want to try to get in or just wait for other races to pop up

I don't think the race date is posted on the IM website until after this years race is completed.  The race is typically the 4th weekend in July so July 26, 2015.  I did find confirmation of this on a Lake Placid Tourism site, see below.  Not sure this website denotes absolute proof that it will be help on the 26th in 2015 but the best I found in my quick search.

Things seem to happen for a reason. It was by chance that I read a weekly EN update email on the IMLP lottery. I thought nothing like having a date on the calendar to get one motivated. I chose to add my name to the lotto list with the mindset that if I got the slot, that was a clear message that it was time again to fit something I love doing (ironmans) back into my life.

I look forward to again training and racing with the amazing EN Team.

As an AWA I received an email today from ironman for an early entry for Lake Placid. I'll use that so you can let someone else from EN use one of the guaranteed slots. I didn't even think about it before today.
