2014 IM World Champs - Testing out some GPS tracking

Hi gang, just saw this on the face book page of the IMTriclub Competition.

Athletes racing in Kona - if you are a middle to back of the packer we need you! We are looking for 6 athletes to test out some GPS tracking solutions during the race.



It would be great if we could find some willing participants to help us prototype some of the gear (it’s a small device they would carry on the bike and run on their run belt. If interested please email me at Elizabeth.kollar@ironman.com

    I would think it has to be better than most of the IM tracking that we've had in trying to follow family and friends. With the wave swim start I've had a problem trying to figure out when someone (Tim C. and Carl) might be coming across the line (specially after the fact via DVR on the website). To bad it was used in Kona last year. My daughter in Omaha, NE had better updates on my status than the rest of the family had while they were on the island via the web.
