Olivia, Congrats on a great day and thanks for your report. Anybody can get it done when the planets line up and all goes well. What would alot of people do when their race starts going sideways? A great race isn't all about the time, for me it's about what it took to get there and my greatest race wasn't my fastest. Awesome job!!
Olivia- Was watching and cheering for you the whole day( as well as others). Your story has been inspiring. you are my partner in making a comeback. What an awesome RR. I will take it with me for my day in July. Sooooo happy for you!. Way to conquer your demons out there, and let em know is is boss.
Olivia, This is one of those stories that I'll be thinking about throughout the day in Coeur d'Alene next month. Very inspiring, both the effort put forth in training and racing as well as the attitude that you have about the process and the outcome.
While I am fully responsible for what I didn't do nutrition wise on the bike, I think I was meant to have a day like that on course. It played out as it needed to for me to accept the accomplishment alone, final time not withstanding.
Thank you for sharing, and for setting such a high bar for the team in terms of fortitude, character, and class.
