  • Hi Everyone!!

Finally got all the Christmas traveling done and house guests have departed so a late check-in… Really excited to be part of an OS group with so many incredible and motivating people. This is OS number 9 for me.

Next summer I have a daughter graduating college and moving halfway across the country and two family weddings which are making it really hard to schedule events, but my triathlon goal this year is to do a 70.3 with my younger daughter. It looks like she may be on an internship on the East Coast for a big chunk of the summer though, so I am just going all-in on JOS to get ready and we'll figure out races later. I have a lot of work to do to keep up with her!

Thanks to the captains and good luck in testing everyone!
  • Hi, I am a bit late to the party due to travel. Will be doing my firs wko after work today, not my fave. Looking forward to training with all of you. I have been with EN for a few years and I am signed up for IM Arizona this year ( my 3rd IM). My immediate goal is doing Jan OS/Run Durability plan and sticking it! I have not been consistent with this in the past and I believe dedication now, will help me later.
  • Late to the party as well....this is my 6th OS w/EN....headed to IM Boulder in August....will join EN BRP cycling in May and hopefully a week in Colorado w/Al T in mid June
  • I'm also late to the party, but happy to be here. I will be bike testing today given my myriad excuses yesterday.

This will be my third OS with EN (hopefully second full one since I broke my leg skiing halfway through the first). I just got paroled from a run jail sentence that lasted a couple of months, so I have done very little since IM Chattanooga in late September. These next few weeks are going to hurt!!

My schedule this year is BRP camp in May, REv3 Williamsburg 70.3 in July then IM Louisville in October.

I look forward to following everyone's work this OS.
  • Rebooting into the January OS after a failed attempt at the November OS - too much work and family stuff going on to make it productive so I bagged the NOS 3 weeks into it. Looking forward to a strong start to the new year!

  • Hi Gang! I'm a bit late to the game, and will likely be even later due to a bum foot (plantar fasciitis). I'll be following along and jumping in as soon as possible. This will be my second year with EN, and thus second out-season. I dont have a specific goal for the year, as I wont be doing any full distance races. Maybe a half IM at some point, but mostly just a few sprints. I'm aiming for IMTX 2017 as my next big race. So this year is just a "get faster" year.
  • Hey everyone! I'm finally back after my 13 months off since IMAZ 2014. I probably ran/rode fewer than 20 times last year (too much soccer coaching) so I'm going to be stealing the mojo from these group emails so I can get back in the habit of running again. In 3-5 weeks I'll drop into the plan and start actually doing the full workouts with everyone. Can't wait! Its great to see so many familiar names/faces around. This will be my 5th or 6th OS after skipping last year.
  • Testing is done I have my numbers and plan time to put in some work. The bike went well today and tomorrow is an off day or pool for some like me.
  • Hi everyone.  Checking in late.  Was overseas with family until Thursday night.  Was able to run 3x per week about 6 mi each during the holidays.  This is my 7th OS.  My will be doing Ironman Wisconsin this year, my third IM (IM Louisville in 2010 and 2011).  Did 70.3s in '12 - '15.  Battled PF for all of 2013.  Feeling healthy and ready for a great OS.

  • Scott! Welcome home. That's great you'll be racing IMMOO this year. Great race...may try to make it over there for the race to support everyone.
  • I'm so excited to be back at it after a miserable 2015. 2016 is going to be awesome.
  • My 1st outseason, and my first half ironman this year - and very grateful to be doing it as part of such an experienced team! I did the run durability plan starting in Nov. and am already running longer distances more consistently than ever before, so off to a good start. :-) Just sore all the time, and guessing that's not going to change soon, looking at the OS Plan. ;-)

  • Well it is only week 2 but I can tell this OS with run durability added is really gonna rock!!!
  • Hi all! Dropping in here a little late, better late than never right?!? Just heading home from the January Volume Camp in Florida so the winter weather in Indianapolis is going to be a rude shock.

Looking to be fully recovered and rolling with you guys by the end of the week.

Right now I am targeting Boulder 70.3 as my A race.
  • Late check in...lurking....

  • Hey everyone,

Jumping in late with the intro but kicked off the OS early in January.  First OS, having used just a plan for IMLP in 2014 to a personal best.  Off to a good start, feeling great, though the past two weeks have been bumpy with a new puppy & slight head cold.  Still feeling good about the start to this season after taking last year off of triathlon & doing four months of cyclocross for fun here in CO.

Looking forward to sharing the OS & season journey here.  A race: IM Boulder.  B: Vineman 70.3.  C: a handful of Oly or similar local races to get into the racing / transition / etc. mindset.

Male, 45, have done 7 IMs, various 70.3s, lifelong runner & biker, finally a respectable IM swimmer.  Looking to maximize my run durability to take advantage of my 30+ years of running experience & reach my full potential IM marathon on top of the swim & bike.
