  • Got the new shorts and top in today...

I am selling the new medium shorts (too small) or will trade for a new large short if anyone has one...as for the top, I sized up and it somewhat fits, although the zipper does not lock in place on the top.
  • I got the EN 10 year Anniversary medium shorts and they are too small (5'9" 164 lbs). Would like to trade for a large or sell. They are really awesome looking and hope I can find a large to trade with!
  • I was hoping to take a medium of off someone's hands, but based on what Dave is saying, I may need a large as well. Good to know before ordering.
  • I was in the second order and received my Castelli Speedsuit Friday, just in time for Eagleman.  The medium top and bottom fit great! I'm 6'1 and 165#.  Very comfortable...the top is tight (have to make sure the zipper is locked down) but very light, flexible and comfy.  Time to take it on a test ride.

  • @ToddMiddlebrooks  Let me know if you are in the market for the mediums...cheers  Brian

  • I did not order the speed suit because was worried I would look like this.  Now that I have been completely immersed in EN, I feel fitter and lighter.   I will get in on the order at the end of the month.  9lbs left to race weight.

Finally got around to trying my shorts - they fit great.  Maybe even a tiny bit big, but better than too small.  I got the mediums, so I would say the kit fits true to size.  For anyone looking to order in the next round, I am 5'8" and 140 lbs.  I didn't get the top because unisex sizing scares me with this over 50 body  :p  I would be willing to try a small top if anyone is looking to trade or get rid of one.
  • I have a medium top that is too small for me that I'd sell or exchange for a Large. I thought I ordered a large, but guess I ordered a medium.
  • Just a quick re check if anyone ordered or has size small shorts they want to sell?
  • I received my shorts as well.  They fit well.  I'm 5'10" and 150 lbs.  Lord, what woman advertises that??? LOL.
  • I have to sell the top...It's a medium and is wrinkly on my arms and back.  Just too loose in a mens medium.  Sure wish I'd read the details better when I ordered, because it is super comfy, has pockets and I love the look!

If anyone has a small to trade that would rock!  If not, I'll sell it.  Message me if interested.

All - I have a unisex medium top to sell as well..just to big and doesn't fit right.  As far as bottoms, they are to big as well so in case anyone looking for a pair, I got the women's large and not suitable so also on offer!  PM me if anyone, male or female are interested.

Gentlemen....still looking for a speed suit top?

    Dawn

  • I gotta get some EN gear but have no idea now on what size...!!

if you get castelli, note that Castelli runs small as a brand... seen that on the westernbikeworks.com and other sites that sell thier stuff (and from personal experience)
  • yes I have experienced that too... love the feel though.

  • I ended up getting a seamstress to work on my top and wore it at IMLP.  Not a perfect solution, but for $15 it stopped the flapping on my shoulder area.  I will have her add some velcro to the pockets as I lost food on the bike and my run nutrition concentrate bottle before mile one!
  • @Dawn Cass
Still looking for one here, not sure of the size though I will have to look it up again.  I bought one new and my 3 year old put it somewhere and now I cant find that or the shorts...go figure...and no my house is not that big he just hid them and doesn't know where they are....  ;-)

I can confirim that while Trish was smoking up the run course, no flapping  :o
  • FINALLY found my speed suit top and shorts that my 3 year old hid a long while back!  Tried the shorts on and they are a bit tight but going to try them on a ride this weekend, as of the top as I mentioned I sized up to and XL d versus a large because of the size issue in the past, but unlike before when I tried it on the top sleeves are a bit too long now and the back of the shoulders are a bit loose, not sure I can get that fixed...bummer...

Brian, I had very loose shoulders on my back and took the top to a seamstress to have it taken in.  I'd ride in it this weekend and see how it goes on the bike.  Then find someone to tailor it for you.  I did IMLP and topped out at 45 mph on the Keene descent...zero flapping!  And all of $15 to fix!
  • @Trish Marshall
Thanks Trish, I will see how it goes and take your advise, for sure need to shorten the sleeves, as they go to my mid elbow...ooh and 45mph, sounds fun and terrifying at the same time!
  • Hello Everyone,
looks like the store is closed. Racing IMFL anyone have a large top med bottoms they are looking to part with? I'm 6-2 185 lbs

  • @JOSE CARPIO

I have a medium bottom, tried once and just didn't fit right if you are interested.

On the top, I ended up sizing up on the top to an XL to fit in the chest, but the sleeves are a bit long for me, as well and the shoulders a bit loose in the back...I think I am going to go back to the regular singlet top.

  • I have a large top and bottom that has never been worn. Was too tight for me.
  • @Jeff Braaten
How much do you want for the large bottoms?  And is the top the trigger top or the sleeved?
