Don’t act like you’re not thinking about it. Who’s in for 2018, now that we know that they have renewed the contract?

Thinking about it... it would mean doing 3IM's next year, that said, IMAZ would be #12...

"TriClub participants will receive a priority registration link on Wednesday, November 22, 2017."

AWA athletes got one today.

If you routinely get those links from Ironman (e.g., last one was Nov 9 for IM Florida), you'll get this one on Wed.

Tentatively planning on racing Laguna Phuket again next November.  If plans fall through, as they often do with around-the-world vacations disguised as "races," I'll do IMAZ.  Of course, if it were IMAZclown, I'd do it just for the extra slots.

It’s not 2003, so it won’t sell out in minutes. Or days.

With @Scott Dinhofer jumping in, that’s a fast dude in my AG before regular registration even opens. Jeez. At the end of the day, I guess he’s just another guy to mow through or be left in his wake as grass clippings. We’ll make up over a post-race beer.

Love racing in the heat, but if it's a PR I'm after, IMAZ seems to be the ticket. It will be a long season... at my age, I know that I'll need to limit my racing. Still looking to push the button when registration opens.

Really? I;m the one that should be telling you to go fish in another pond.. I am still a KQ wannabe, you are a grandmaster... perhaps we can push each other to a perfect 1-2 finish  

@Al Truscott - what's the hotel we all stayed in a few years ago? We should make that the EN clubhouse!

@Gary Lewis Not saying you should do this, but just to show how obsessed I was with doing the ITU WC this past August, I got my daughter to delay her wedding by a week so I could do the qualfying. @ MiamiMan.  She's celebrating their first anniversery in Bacelona right now.

Not doing *That* again ....till the "birth trauma" recedes from memory....then Ill be like "oh I want another one!" LOL.... 2018 will be shorter focused and speed building year.  Right now I'm still thinking "well that was stupid!"   Seems like in 6 months I'll be over it and planning my next IM (#6).  Ill be down to volunteer in 2017 and hope to actually do some EN meet ups.  Good luck to everyone in 2018!

The triclub early registration emails will go out tomorrow, the 22nd.  And you can always just leisurely sign up when regular registration opens at noon Eastern on the 27th.  I certainly didn't use the AWA early reg I got yesterday and won't be signing up, if at all, for quite a while.

@Sheila Leard Ironman shifted the 30 Kona slots from Heifei 70.3 to Phuket 70.3 after the Chinese government quashed Heifei.
