Wow, some gorgeous bikes on display here! I just got my first tri bike on March 3rd, a stock Cervelo 2009 P2 Dura-Ace with PowerTap PRO+.
May not seem like a big deal, until you consider what I was riding before March 3rd. Here I am returning from a century ride up to Brattleboro last July, looking a bit haggard after fighting strong headwinds all the way home:
Needless to say, it's been a bit of a shock leaping from a 39-lb Fuji Crosstown hybrid commuter bike straight to a sub-20lb all-carbon power-metered clipless-pedal properly-fitted aero-position tri bike!
Per EN code, my bike is turned the opposite way for a pic (front wheel should be facing right!) so okay.. but here is Lucky back in February! I ride outside all year and ride the tri bike 95%. This was the end of the ride btw as it was too snowy. Husband bought me bike Christmas 2005. it has 12/27 compact gearing. will be riding this at IMWI. m
*Dan, that is the bike that I test rode and it was pretty sweet, the Trek. the handling was super curvy!
right now my road bike, an Orbea dama race, the seat stay has come apart from the drop out.. so? gotta get that taken care of.
Hopefully Rich wont think I'm such a Fred this year as I have now have clothes that fit, shaved legs, and I think my road bike now looks pretty good with a few minor upgrades.
I have since removed the zipp decals on the front wheel, so it look even prettier. Once the fit is done I will clean up the extra housing. So far so good.
It is all DA 7900 but for the BB30 sram force cranks [seemed wrong to use an adapter to keep it all shimano]. I may buy some fancy bars, not sure yet.. Now to work on the watts it deserves...
My 2009 Specialized Comp that I picked up in March. These are the factory wheels, new ANT+ is on order. I'm still playing around with things. I've figured out the bento box thing since this photo. Bike shipped with 105 but I had everything swapped out for Ultegra and a compact. Hydration is the next project.
@ Chris G - Sweet! I just had my old Lucero reframed to the black CD0.1. It needs some more TLC, but it's going to be the back-up ride so I have time. I stripped the decals off my old flashpoints, but I'm going to redecal them for my wife's ride with pink butterflies. That frees me up to get something that matches better. I'm looking for wheels and/or decals with a jet black base color to match the frame. Looks like you're using the salt-stick dispensers...I have them on both tri-bikes!
Paul & Chris- I stripped the decals off my Zipps too- also trying to find some good black base stickers to add the right bling (got my EN stickers yesterday so I'll work on that before posting Fiona). My salt stick doesn't fit in my aerobars, they are too short and the bend in the S bar prevents me from using it. :-(
Al- the tires on Fiona right now would look nice on your felt (red sidewalls), but they look awful on Fiona (she's got yellow highlights).
Looks like many of us are going to have that Bento Box problem this year. Nice to know I've got company!!

Nemo - did you see what I posted on the Bento Box thread?

Yeah I did. I took my old Bento and tried it that way on a test ride. The velcro rubs my legs so I need to get a new box (Xlab or fuelbelt) but that system seems to work fine!
I really need to take a non-cell phone picture to get a little better resolution, but all the same here's what I've been riding these days:
2009 Felt B12, Ultegra SL drivetrain, FSA Team Issue cranks w/ Quarq Cinqo Saturn (ANT+) with Garmin 310xt for the head unit, Cobb V-Flow Max, HED Stinger 6 front and Stinger 9 rear (tubulars).
I have in the past, but not with those wheels, and certainly not facing the wrong direction like it is in this picture! I've never been able to get into aero on the smaller diameter rollers like these, but I can't say that I've ever felt too compelled to practice it. I mostly ride my road bike on the rollers, it's outside of the frame in this pic, nothing special but gets the job done for me, alumninum Trek 2.3 w/ Ultegra and a compact double crank, much more fun on the hills. Even on the road bike and with practice the rollers still keep me on my toes.

New 2010 Trek Madone 6.9 with SRAM Force. Just arrived yesterday and needs a lot of tweaking
I'm not really good with the straight on shot. So I had to do something a little more dramatic.
Dan - The latest and greatest! Fly up those hills.
