  • A lot of really solid swims so far! The Halligan and Drillbit have begun taking names on the bike.

  • Trent through the first bike segment in a smoking 24.51mph!

  • Yep, everyone looking good through the first bike check!! Keep it going!

  • Some really fast swim times! Is the opening bike leg downhill? Some folks are flying, but then bike split #2 shows a major speed change? Hope they have no rain and overcast skys!
  • Agree! Great swim times. The Halligan appears to be lighting up the bike course...as if we expected anything else.
  • Woohoo! Kate and I are back from our ride and checking in. Looks like all the EN Chica's are doing well and rocking the course! Way to go team!!!
  • OK- I just noticed David Corso doesn't seem to be on the EN Tracker. So here is his update.
    Swim: 1:19
    Bike 1: 1:26
    Bike 2: 1.43

    He's doing great!!!
  • I finished my sprint (3rd in AG I think) today and settling in to track the long coursers. Looks like folks are off to a great start. Nice swim times, and smokin' the bike course! GO TEAM!!
  • Where is the tracker spread sheet??
  • Looks like Trent's off the bike...Dave shouldn't be too far behind.
  • 5 or 6 folks under 6:00 on the bike...nice job!
  • Impressive bike split coming in. Trent and Halligan passed 50 people each in their repsective age groups on the bike. Trent is at 27th going into the run. Good place for him.

  • Seems like the bike pacing is spot on for Dave Dave and Trent. Setting up great runs.
  • Just HOW hilly/steep is that second portion of the bike course?

  • Suzanne is off the bike!! What a ride!!

SERIOUSLY!!!  Yikes! Lots of folks out on the run now- GOOOOOO TEAM!

  • FYI, Dave Corso is out of T2 and onto the run as well. Bike split of 6:25
  • OK- If we've done the math right I think Trent should be crossing the finish line soon. Kate and I are watching the Live feed before we have to leave to meet Becky for dinner hoping we can see him finish. Goooooooo Trent!
  • Just saw Trent cross!!

  • Yeah Trent just finished! Way to go, Nemo and I are having a watch party. We are about to take a laptop to dinner so we don't miss anything! To everyone else keep up the good work!
  • Who did I just miss??? Saw the EN kit and that was it?

  • Feeling so happy for and proud of everyone!

  •  Hi everyone= thanks for cheering. My day came to an end early.

My swim was pretty slow for me. 1st part breathing really tight despite albuterol. Had to bring it in a notch, 2nd loop of swim started getting dry heaves.

Bike- hard time getting nutrition in. stomach was very crampy, 2nd loop I couldn't hold my infinit. Did pick up a little after some watermelon, stomach better for a bit but then thestomach cramping came back. My stomach was not happylast night after last dose of antbiotics, was very rumbly this am.

I started, timing was off with cold etc. Also just coming back from injuries. my goal was to start and give it what i had which i did. I am happy about that, but a little sad overall

Surrounded by my loving family now.

    Revenged planned for 2012

Oh and the hills on 2nd part of course are tough!

T- You are a champ, know that in your heart. You got out there and gave it your best on a tough day!! Glad to know you are safe and ok. Hugs to you!!

  • Oh, Tracy! I'm glad you are safe. It sounds like a very tough day! We do know you gave Ironman your all. Dry heaves? Sheesh! Get lots of hugs from that family and kisses from Moojo.

Team, it looks like you are doing a helluva job all around today. Nice!

  • Have been watching from the brew pub all afternoon. Lots of great races from EN folks! Heading back out now to cheer till midnight.
  • Just saw Cary cross the line in 13:31. Wasn't wearing his EN kit.
  • Been checking times off and on all day... just got back from dinner with Kate and Nemo... (Nemo brought her computer so we could keep track)    So proud of everyone... and even more excited for my first (if only Nov weren't so far away).

Congrats to all the finishers... special congrats to my fellow DC Tri Clubber and inspiration-extraordinnaire, Suzanne Kinsky, who crushed her first IM!!!!

No that I'm partial but... Go Chicas!!!  Looks like Carly and Dana are still out there... hugs to you Tracy.  Proud of you for giving it what you had and sticking to your plan!  (maybe I can talk you into IMWI with me for a 2011 comeback and kick ass IM)

  • Yup- back from Dinner with Kate and Becky. Thai - Rich you woulda been proud! We couldn't get internet but Kate used the iPhone to give us updates on everyone throughout dinner. So proud of everyone! Suzanne- what a great comeback- you rock! Tracy, I left you a VM on the way home-call if you need a pep talk. But it sounds like you have a great support crew there with you. I'm so proud of you for giving it your all- especially considering all the circumstances. 2012? You know we'll be there for you!!
