  • Now the big question, will it work with correctly with WKO and download directly without having to use Power agent?

Will someone please test and post a review to the forums once you have it in your hands?
  • Don't know anything about the download, but I got my hands on one of the big Joules at the Multisport expo.  The interface is very slick.  I can definitely see wanting one of those when I ever get to a wireless power meter.  For now, my wired LYC is going to be just fine.

  • @Matt - 'ye of little faith' ! Sure it'll work fine & dandy like all bike related CPU's.........
  • I spoke to Wheelbuilder.com on Friday and the Joules were delivered. Everyone can breathe a collective sigh of relief now. Of course now we get to work through compatibility stuff with WKO now :-)

  • Correction: WB has gotten "most" of their units. I worked with WB to identify who would get theirs first, as they could only ship about 10 of the 15+ we have on order.

  • OK...well they are getting closer then :-).

I will check out the manual Tom. Thanks for the link.

  • Wow!  Can't believe that I'm finally going to have a Joule, WKO+, and a power webinar to go with the the new Quarq I got a few weeks ago.  Right now it's pretty much a cool looking decoration on my sweet new Lightning compacts.

  • OK. Time to chime in.

    Who got their Joule?
  • Just got mine today, but.... need one more bike mount and need to upgrade to ANT+. Does look pretty good though image
  • Got my Joule and tried to get it set up....seems more complex than I expected.

I did not have an ANT+ speed sensor set up on my bike and installed one from my Garmin 705. The Joule doesn't see it. It does pair with my quark and reads watts and cadence from the Cinqo but won't start and run the timer or distance as I'm guessing those are triggered by the speed sensor?

    Anyone get it working yet?

Also, the power zones are different than WKO. I entered my FTP into PowerAgent and got my powerzones but they are higher than I would guess. Example: FTP is set @ 290 and PowerAgent calculates my "Threshold" power zone as 303 watts. Does anyone see a reason NOT to use Poweragent's zones and create a different standard for EN use?

PS...I started a new Joule user thread.
  • Vince, thanks for the user thread. I'll definitely chime in. Still need to get my PT upgraded to ANT+. Hopefully you will have it all figured out before I start!
  • @ Rich just wanted to make sure you got my cashiers check back in January, I think I sent it off around the 23.
  • I haven't gotten mine yet either

But it does give me something to look forward to...Hopefully here this week.

Anyway to know if its shipped?

  • Saw Saris in Milwaukee Bike Expo yesterday. They said joules are shipping but if group order was with Power Taps, it's another four weeks.

Are the Joules coming to us direct from Saris or Rich?

  • Oopps sorry. Just made sense of the whole Wheelbuilder thing. If we were among the group not selected to get ours first, what is the timeframe for us.

  • OK mine is on the way!!!  Should be here on Monday!!

  • Hey folks,

I'm going to turn this thead off for new posting. If you need/are missing your Joule, please email me at rich@endurancenation.us. I just can't have another thread in the forum that I need to monitor for customer service stuff. Thanks.
