  • Thanks Eli...walking on clouds today!
  • 10/1 FTP done in the AM was 183w but seemed low so I was using WAG of 200w since week 2. Today I get a legit NP of 205w - 12% boost over my first test. Go Team USA!
  • Hey Team USA! .. we have some blank values in the spreadsheet dragging us down... eight of them to be exact.

I know there are some from JOS that have yet to test, but the others need to get thier data on...... so, if you do have test data, post it. If you are in the JOS, well I guess we are going to have some dead wood for a while.....

Fun to see the huge gains on both teams... Way to go gang! No matter the final score - we all win!!
  • Newbie and just saw this in the forums. I posted my results for the US of A. 13% gainer in the NOV OS!

  • Just did FTP test 3 as am in Pumpkin OS (Oct). Another nice gain for us Metric Folks! Happy to break the 300w mark at 302w NP for a 22.7% gain since the first test... nice...
  • just added my first ever ftp test result. here's to hard work and improvement... I've certainly gots lots of ground to gain!
  • I've just joined team rest'o'the world. I'm an American living abroad so I figured I could go either way, and the foreigners were so few in number. My starting FTP is so low that I hope I've got big percentages in my future.
  • Yeah! Finally the JOS team gets to play! I'm in!
  • Chunking in some more gains for Team USA. Did week 14 FTPtest a few days early and came in with a 285 which is up from 269 on the last test and 227 on the first test of the OS. So, currently sitting at a 25.5% gain.
  • @ Art - Awesome bump! And you still got 6 more weeks to push that further... nice!

I too did the week 14 test early (so I can get my Boston long run tomorrow). I was looking to add 10 watts to my 205 and managed to get 9 - feels like a good bump to me! Got me to 3 W/Kg. Overall increase from initial test(183): 16.9%

Gonna be some big numbers comming up on Monday - Go Crush it Team USA!!
  • Nice work Art and Steve. Yes indeed, the updated spreadsheet will be a very interesting read in coming days. It will hopefully guide me better than a 5W gain next time. I can't wait to get a chance to test outdoors.
  • Added my jump to 335 here....Team USA is pulling closer!!!! image
  • Holy Crap coach!  335 NP for 42..............Way to lead...........!!

  • I added my bump (6.8%)... come on Jan OS!! We need to help Team USA out!
  • I just signed up.  I had 200 watt test with the Jan OS did 3 weeks then had 3 off now back at it.

I jumed back to week 2 and will have to use the week 14 test when the Jan OS is done as my final number so you can have a final tally.  I guess that means that I have my work cut out for me or I might owe Dave a case of beer for hauling down the international team

    Gordon

  • 225 -> 252 for a 12% gain. I am happy with that, since I have spent a good part of the Outseason sampling the beer I will bring to camp.

FTP gains are great and all but did someone mention beer? Do go on please.

  • I'm about to add my bump.. up another 10 ticks to 167! Go Jan OS!!
  • Final FTP test done. Raised it up by 5. First test 162, Second test 179, Third test 184.
