Beginner to Intermediate Plan change?
So i am on week 6 of the beginner plan and waited per others instructions until week 5 to ask this. i chose beginner since this is IM #1 and I am carrying a bit of fluff and was worried about how my body would handle the runs.
So here it goes. 1 missed workout, recovering well day to day, feeling super comfortable in all runs on treadmill. on the trainer intervals are tough but very doable. I start my interval now once my HR (no power) hits the target and am able to hold the entire interval.
So do I ...
1) just follow the other threads instructions about adjusting intervals?
2) or should I request a plan change?
3) Stay where I am and wait until week 10 to make a choice since that will be two weeks into the next phase?
4) Hang tight and be happy I feel great and will finish the IM not worrying about a time goal.
Thanks for all your input!

I'm new to the OS so take this for what its worth. If you are recovering from the workouts you might want to try to change but I would watch out. The running is the high impact and I thing your decision to go easier is a good one. If the bike intervals are tough just I might suggest keep at the beginner and overachieve on the FTP intervals and be at the top or over the 85% slightly.
For the run I'd be on the conservative side as your cardiovascular system will adapt faster than the body to the pounding. Still if you are feeling good I saw a post early in the OS about someone who wanted the advanced bike workouts while doing the intermediate runs. It might be a possibility to do this.
If it were me I'd be happy with the progress and stay where I am until week 10 then reevaluate. If you can push the bike more do it as there is alot less risk.
That's my 0.02

Paul,
I think this question deserves some attention from RnP. Since they don't look at the OS forums as frequently, I would suggest posting this question here: http://endurancenation.us.dnnmax.co...fault.aspx
