@Dan, it is mandatory you are off that leg, this is your voice of reason speaking.......Daaaaaaan, can you hear it. Take one or two off, anytime in doubt, take it out. Now that I have said that, watch me drive myself into the ground bouncing off several times.
@Beth, oh boy, been there and done that. Let me give you what I am about to do, I am swimming also 3x week now, from 4500-5600m per workout, so here it is for OS:
Monday: AM swim, PM run E-pace 5-6mi ("Easy Day") or maybe OFF if dead beat
Tuesday: AM Bike FTP+Run brick, at least 5mi, PM OFF
Wednesday: AM Swim, PM Run Q1 8-10mi
Thursday :AM Bike FTP+Run brick, at least 5mi, PM OFF
Friday: AM Swim, PM OFF
Saturday: AM Bike FTP+Run brick, mostly easy 5mi, PM OFF
Sunday : AM OFF, PM Run Q2, 8-10mi
Now, this is me, given that I am 39 years old...recovery becomes an issue. I have done bike FTP, Run FTP back to back same day, big hole to come out from, let alone another bike FTP after that, the next day. Try it, but I think, it maybe a cracking point.
Everyone is more than welcome to look at this and provide some critique as I maybe lacking objectivity. All the workouts will be EN except swimming, I have a coach that guides and supervises that.
Aleksandar, I like the schedule. As I said in my previous post, to each their own, I've tried the bike and run quality workouts together in desperation before and don't recommend it either, but as we know, I do have a bum knee and it each sport does affect one another at certain times. Plus, sleep becomes a factor for me because I go early and then late so I can't get away with it. A few times in a couple of months if I'm motivated, but I'm gassed the next 2 days.
