My cadence works fine.   I use the footpod with my 305, mostly outside, so I'm usually connected to a satallite.  Cadence shows in the Garmin Traininig Center, and when I export the file and drag it over to WKO+ 3.0, I see the same cadence numbers there.  I also pushed it into Training Peaks from WKO+ 3.0, it was there too.

I haven't run indoors since getting up to speed with3.0.  Is it posible that the issue is indoor vs. outdoor?

Interesting, I have tried both indoor (gps off) and outdoor runs with the footpod and the cadence shows fine in GTC, but when I drag it to WKO+, no cadence.

Do you mind checking which version of GTC you are using and which foot pod you have?

    Matt,

I've got the latest GTC, version 3.4.3.  I've looked at the foot pod and can't seem to figure out version or model my looking at it.  I bought it around Thanksgiving of 2009.  The 305 doesn't appear to have anything either except "foot pod" under accessories. Any advice to get model # or version? It looks like this

    Windows XP, WKO+ 3.0 build 43

Tom, thanks for checking.  I actualy have a newer version of GTC 3.5.1 and the same footpod.  I'm also on XP with WKO 3.0 build 43.  Looks like it is time for me to bug Garmin/TP when I have a chance.

Matt, just did an indoor run yesterday.  I get all the cadence data, so it's not an issue with indoor / outdoor.

  • I upgraded to 3.0 but can't figure out how to create on range that include bothe the 2 x 20' intervals and the 2' rest interval, for a total of 42'.  Can anybody help me.

    Thanks.

  • It should work just like it did in the prior version. Go to the Graph tab, highlight the section of the workout that was the 2x20 test (all 42 min of it), and you'll see a new range called "Selection" in the "Ranges" area of the page . Right Click on the word "Selection" and rename it something like FTT- then save it.
  • Nemo,

Wow.  It probably sounds simple to you but I have been trying to figure out how to select a segment of the workout for 2 days.  No one ever showed me how to use wko.  Is there an online or video tutorial out there?

    Thanks,

    George

  • No- it's not all that intuitive! And I probably didn't explain it all that well either. Try this thread from the old 3.0 Forum to see if these instructions help out a bit more.
