Coach R out of the swim, but at almost 57 minutes- a lot slower than he wanted or is the timing mat a little ways away?

Yeah, but he was still 29th OA out of the water, and 2nd in his division. Hopefully he was on the feet of a few guys and decided to save a little energy! Times DID seem a few minutes slower too...

It was wetsuit legal. Though the water looked a little wavy from some pics people posted on FB. Maybe enough to slow people down by a minute or two.

Maybe the live feed resources are @ the 70.3 Wold Champs? But, from the tracking blog: " A finish line video feed should be available once the athletes start coming through the finish line". The blog also has pics of athletes the day before in wetsuits, so, maybe the course was long?

It looks like he's only got 3 minutes on the 8th place guy out of the swim and the 1st AG has him by almost 5 minutes on the swim. Let's hope that he nails the bike and makes people chase him hard.

He's rocking the bike against the whole field being tracked. Kelly Brown is the only athlete with a higher average MPH on the bike. They will be close on the run.

@ Thomas, Thank you for the link. It looks like the offical IW tracker web site will be slow to update again this race. The pro's went through the 56 mile point almost 30 min ago and no updates on times!

How come Hayes isn't on the EN tracker? Anyway, he is also past the 54 checkpoint, avg 19.94. Looks like he's pretty dialed in too!

Looks like some great bike times. Not sure about transition times, but base on swim and bike times, Matt and William should be pert close together on the bike right now. Curious about Coach Rich. Hopefully not a mechanical or something. For those of you that know her, Karin Langer (Haye's SO) came out of the water in 2nd in her AG too. Looks like she's killing the bike too. GO TEAM!!

Definietly some really strong bike times in the early going.

@Bill check the link on the pervious page Coach Rich is going strong. He's just finiishing up the second loop at 9% grade right now.

Mancona with a 5:05, almost 3 minutes better than last time. 8 minutes faster on the swim from last time. Nice to see his work is paying off!

Looks like Rich came in at 5:13 according to the MyAthlete tracking thread. Not updated yet on IromanLive, so no idea how he's doing place-wise. Looks like Karin is still holding off Hayes by a few minutes. She's killing it! Good times all around. Getting hot around here (Minneapolis), so if it's similar there, it's going to be a tough run!

Coach Rich went by Run SpecialNeeds on Capital square 15 min ago, he looked good and gave big smile he was easing into run. He was running solo and not many runners out yet

Looks like Dave Tallo also put up a smokin' bike time (5:22:XX). Daniel and William are also smokin' it! Great bike times all around. GO TEAM!!

As best I can calculate it Rich is in the top 5 coming off the bike. Dave Tallo is also in the top 10 for the M40-44. Hard to tell, but it also looks like Karin must be in first place with a pretty good lead right now. She should be hitting the run soon.
