Best to get the set up peroid and worry about add ons later as cash becomes available. Gordon is right on the LYC comes with the Hub . I would hope the heart rate strap comes with the package also, be sure to find out. You can also ues Power Agent , which is free , down load it to your computer and it will give you all the information you need to get started. WKO/ Power webinar can be added later as you get up to speed learning about this stuff. I joined here in Jan. with just the minimum and the team brought me up to speed , thru the post and my questions, with that I got into WKO/ Power Webinar. Pick a flavor, for my money I start on the low side and work my way up too much to soon is information overload in my world. Just my 2 cent...
@Kim, a couple of things here. First of which I am about to run foul of. Rich wants this thread for just HIM. So no one should be commenting in.
Having said that, I think you have gotten some bad advice above from David and Gordon. The LYC does not come with your PT for free. You pay foe that. one of the big mistakes I made was to but the LYC along with my PT. I should have just bought the Garmin 500. Same cost. If you look at Rich's original post there is no mention of a LYC coming with the purchase. Look at the Cycleops site and the LYC is selling for like $300. There is no way they are giving that to you for nothing.
So basically I am telling you that you need to buy a real cycling computer or an all in one Garmin watch to capture your power data. Only advice I will give, I'm sure Rich will throttle, is don't buy the current Joule. Go with a Garmin. And don't pay over $200 for a Garmin 500.
EDIT: Oh and if I 'm wrong abotu the LYC I apologise. Maybe I'm just reading it wrong but the math just doens't add up to me.
@Kim - I'll not post in here anymore so that I don't get too many kicks in the nuts from Coach Rich. Tucker could be correct that this is a hub only deal as ther was no mention of it on the wheelbuilder site. So you may need a Garmin or Joule.
