  • @Kori, keep in mind I don't work full time! Excecpt for homeschooling the kids, but that's a different story.  Full time work + kids is a LOT! But I know from friends that do WOH that once the kids're in school it does get a lot easier. Especially if they're involved in after-school activities (sports etc.) although then you get into the trap we're in now where every weekend is some kind of event that involves travel and/or $$$.

Oh yeah, and don't get me started on the $$$ thing. I am not making this up: we went OVER our food budget by $1200 last MONTH. Yes, you read that right. My 15  y.o.  son is a human vacuum cleaner and he's skinny as a bean pole and eats non stop. I hear this giant sucking sound and I know it's my triathlon budget being sucked out of the refrigerator, LOL.

  • @Robin: We have some friends who have a son who was eating them out of house and home. When he went to the Naval Academy, their grocery bill went down in a HUGE way! We always joked that the Navy didn't know what it was getting because 1) he could eat like a horse and 2) he ended up in the hospital at least once a year (usually for something stupid he did).

Took today off after doing a bike, run and Bikram Wednesday and run Thursday. Mud Run tomorrow. Should be fun! Back on the Bike on Sunday.

Have a great and safe weekend everyone!
