@Leigh - stomped? I would say CRUSHED! .91 IF for 1:51!! .....please share the koolaid.
@Linda - Super nice numbers. You make it hard for us to keep up!
@ Trent and Matt - I don't think I can any longer count on my hands and toes how many times you two begin your posts with "Got It Done!" ....there's never an exception or a reason for not "Getting it Done!" We are lucky to have both of you in this OS pushing us and keep the bar high!
@ Team - Holy Crap you guys are blowing the roof off today!
Did my 3 X1s this morning and will report back on my brick tomorrow..... Thanks all for the Mojo!
WOW!!! Team Chavez has completed the Saturday workout. HOLY CRAP!!! So much to say, so many thoughts
We had the chance to go outside for this, had a sitter and everything but could not imagine trying to do this one outside, with cars, traffic, lights and then try to stay with eachother. So we did a modified inside and outside thing. We did 2 hours inside where the work was and then picked up the sitter and went outside for 1 hour followed by the brick. Had a little 30 minute gap in the ride but it's all good. Crazy I know but it is what we did.
For me: got 2 x 20 at 200W( 95%) and 202W 96%
3 x 3 minutes at exactly 233 each for 110%
then did 2 x 15 at 83%, then noodled a bit until the time hit 2 hours
Jumped off, changed, picked up the babysitter and headed outside for 20 mile loop that took us 1:03. Tried to hold 80% plus as much as possible...LEGS BURNING is all I can say. Had to come off the gas here and there, legs were worked.
Got home changed again and headed out for a 30 minute run. Could hardly get the legs to turn over. All the neighbors were out in their yards and I am moaning and groaning to get the legs to go. They cheered ,it was very cute.
I decided I COULD DO THIS and just got it done. Never looked at garmin until the mile marks. I was hitting all my paces and then some!!! 7:36, 7:26, 7:01, 6:56 SHUT UP!!! I could not believe I ran that fast!!! Who knew???
Needless to say I am thrilled
Thought of you all as I was working, you were a huge source of inspiration!!!
Just finished a gingerbread latte and maple scone...I am in heaven.
Some great numbers out there today. I posted that stuff in the weekly thread. What I can say is that the team definitely helped me push the whole workout. Looking forward to Sunday's run.
We have completed 10 week and are half way there.
I've really got to stay focused on the OS. Yesterday at work my mind was already wandering to what my next FTT test numbers will be mainly because I need to set a new goal. I started with a 216 goal, had the bet with John Stark so 225 is really my target.
Take a deep breath, stay calm and just keep doing the work. The number will end up higher. Okay I 'm better now.
Team Chavez rocks. No way I could last 2 hours inside and you ponded out the numbers. I lasted 1:18 outside today and there was no going back for a run. I was pretty cold by the end. One hot cocoa and a huge bowl of steaming hot soup and I was still chilled.

CC, thrilled to see what you do everyday. Amazing frankly considering the levels of intensity! Motivating for us all!
OK friends, my turn to give an update to team "Get it done"
Went into this morning with my mental battle gear in place and the team Mojo from yesterday's posts.
Hit all intervals: 2X20 .96, .96 3X3 1.1,1.1,1.11 and 2 X15 .853, .86
Duration: 1:43:22
TSS: 136.7 (intensity factor 0.891)
Norm Power: 249
Distance: 36.799 mi
Heart Rate: 79 161 147 bpm
Cadence: 34 105 84 rpm
Speed: 0 27.8 21.4 mph
After the bike I stripped down and dried my entire body off, redressed in warm dry clothing and headed out for the brick run. Was 19 degrees. Needed to hit 7:16 for the MP and 6:59 for the HMP. Came in at 7:18 and 6:49 but, candidly the second part of the run was miserably tough for me. Need to thank all of you incredible athletes for sharing your posts, they really push me.
Wow Shaughn!! Way to "Get it done". 19 degrees would just about stop Team C in their tracks. Weenies we are! Nice job and thanks for always being such a positive force in this forum:-)
Nice work from the team this week...getting off the trainer and then running in the cold is tough for sure. We recently added a sweet treadmill to the pain cave and it makes the process much easier on cold days. Considering that it has not been above super freezing cold for a while it has come in handy a lot!
@chris...No doubt. I've ended all outside runner until Feb. I do all my runs at lunch on the tmill brick or work doesn't matter. I've tried to bundle up after sweating for an hour and it just doesn't work for me....much easier to pass out in front of the tv.
