  • I welcomed the 30/30s this morning after doing the 3x10' intervals on Thursday. The three 10s were hard at the new higher zones. Great work everyone.

  • Great job Guys!

Trent, I'm not sure the FTT during the power hack was a great idea. The workouts are now really really tough with the extra watts.

Considering the lack of sleep in the last few days I had low expectations this morning...

    My legs felt great though and I got a killer ride in with 10 x 30/30 @ 120%, 3 x 10 @ 100% and 2 x 15 @ 85% then followed it up with a 30 minute 4.5 mile easy brick.

Still made it back to the hospital when visiting hours started :-)

  • Man you folks are really drilling these workouts.  Way to go!  @ shaugn - did I read that correctly football practice in Feb?????? man you guys have some serious programs down there.

I am sooooo glad to be back!  after 3 weeks of dead leg workouts, I decided to skip the 30/30's today and go with another round of 3 x 10's.  Good decision.  Ended up absolutely nailing them at 110%, 102% and 100%.  More importantly I was able to crank out a nice quick brick run afterwards.  I was getting concerned over the last week or so about the lack of "bounce" in my legs and the really poor tests this week, but I can feel it coming back.  Really looking forward to tommorrows track workout, gonna squeeze it in between kids baseball and the super bowl.

Keep rocking it folks - just inside 6 months to IMLP!!!!!!!

  • @Scott - yes, this is Texas, we have Spring football.  Great job hammering out a strong brick today!

@Trent - I think you win the Holy Crap award today: 1:20 .95 IF.....no more rest days for you!

@ Matt - awesome job today bro!  Are you a father now?
