Nov OS Exit

To all my EN peeps, especially Nov OS....

Incredible group of folks here...the work ethic and committment to get better is contageous (sp?)....

With New Orleans HIM now only 9 weeks away, I've decided to pull the ripcord on the OS. This seemed to be a good breakaway point as testing was completed last week (7% increase in FTP and 4 Vdot bump  !!!! ) and I'll be going into HIM training with my best run and bike metrics, ever.

I plan to take this week as a Transition week, then retool next to build far on top of fast. I will definitely maintain the interval work as I have some pretty lofty goals for New Orleans.

Thanks for all your encouragement, experience and challeges to get better...its worked.

Good luck to all of you .

  • Hey young fella , don't be a stranger.  Drop in and let us know how your training for NOLA is progressing.  You've been an inspiration for me during this OS.  Thank you.

  • No worries, Dave...I'll pass my time lurking and checking up on progress.
Keep trowing those monster numbers up bro...they keep the rest of us pushing at 14' of the 2nd 20' interval !
    Thanks again.
  • Enjoy the HIM training. Will be following you. I hope you continue to post your training somewhere. Maybe get your group together that is racing with you and you start a thread?

  • Only 9 weeks away.  I tend to forget how warm it is down there.  I will probably still be on the trainer for another 6-8 weeks depending on how tough I am this spring.

Enjoy the transition week and keep the hammer down for the 1/2
