Got the flu
Couldn't run today because I got the flu. How do I come back from this, whenever it is done with me? I'm already a week behind everyone.
Running a fever right now, and feel like I've been kicked.

Ping RnP, but you probably want to back off.
Then once you are let RnP guide you back.
Remember you could switch to the Jan OS group if necessary.
I know Matt Sullivan, is doing the Nov OS bike, but due to a running problem is going to join the Jan OS for the run training.
I was sick right before the OS started and in to week one. I got on the bike and started coughing and shut it down right away. I thought I was better but it was too soon. Coming back too soon and extending the sickness is worse that taking the time off. Like the others said its November, just re-evaluate when you feel better.

I feel like I have lost the entire month with being sick and traveling. I have gotten the testing done and it feels like that is about all I have done, but it is just how it is right now.
We all have a long time until our races. We just need to remember that!!
missed a week of OS due to the flu this year.
As soon as I could, I did 30 mins of light yoga and stretched to prep myself for starting to train again. I was sleeping and laying down 24/7 for at least 5 days. I got back on the OS schedule as planned BUT dialed down the intensity a bit.
For instance, we had 3x1 mile repeats...I started feeling weak during the 3rd so I literally backed off to Z1 and ran light to finish. Priority one was listen to my body for my first week back.
By the second week back I was 100%.
Worked for me
