Married to Tracie for 8 years and we have a 5 yo daughter and triplet three year olds (2 girls and a boy). 3x IM Finisher (IMLP in 2007 & 2009, IMFL 2008). 2010 A Race IMCDA.
Joined EN in 2007, so this is my 3rd OS with the team. Followed Rich's plans for IM back in 2007. Racing triathlons since 2005 and had no background in swimming or running prior to that - just knew it was for me. Absolutely love being a part of this team!
Had a very dissapointing race at IMLP this year due to a nutrition error so I am very much looking forward to a strong OS and executing well at IMCDA. I've no aspirations of qualifying for Kona, but would love to get a lottery spot one year like a lot of people. Goals for the OS are FTP 275, vDot 45, weight 165 (2009 peak: FTP 231, vDot 41).
Good luck to everyone racing at IMFL and IMAZ in the coming weeks!
anticipation is building! The start of the Nov OS is like waiting for Christmas - you can't wait for it to arrive and I suspect that a few days in we will be wishing it hadn't started (pain!!!!)

Dave Ware...Member since last Nov OS. Unfortunately injuries prevented any racing this year...hoping for a strong comeback in 2010. Swam in College and started triathlons in the early 80's. I then discovered it was more fun to water ski at the lake than Old Skool 100+ mile bike rides followed by hours of endless running. Really appreciate the RnP schedule of short (relatively) but intense training.

I'm Del -- 30 Years old, married (to Gail), have one daughter (Evelyn 3).
This will be my first full go around with the OS, but I joined EN last spring, and had a 50 minute PR at Wisconsin (even though I had a rough day). This year is about a fast early half-iron event, and running a quality fall marathon but not to late to impact my 2010 OS . Planning on a 2011 Ironman.
I was pretty worthless until last week, and finally starting to feel my mojo come back. My FTP test shows serious room for improvement -- and I might need to boost the numbers before the next test. Vdot is later today (yikes).

Tom Carpenter
Fort Wayne, IN (Just North of the one and only TriTrent)
37 years old, married to Stacie (wife) I also have two kids Tyler (13) and Megan (11). They swim for a club team year round and can not wait to do their first adult triathlon. (Yes, they are board of the kids races already)
I have competed inn 8 Ironman Events
2010 "A" race - TBD 70.3 in June / "AAA" Race Ironman Wisconsin
My real goal is to train consistently this year. If I am dedicated to the process the numbers will fall in place. (Besides Trent needs a little competition.

Jo- Happy Belated Bday!
Did you get your new trainer?
I'm Del -- 30 Years old, married (to Gail), have one daughter (Evelyn 3).
This will be my first full go around with the OS, but I joined EN last spring, and had a 50 minute PR at Wisconsin (even though I had a rough day). This year is about a fast early half-iron event, and running a quality fall marathon but not to late to impact my 2010 OS
I was pretty worthless until last week, and finally starting to feel my mojo come back. My FTP test shows serious room for improvement -- and I might need to boost the numbers before the next test. Vdot is later today (yikes).

Married to Teresa, a school teacher. No children at home (already graduated college). I'm retired U. S. Navy and occupy my days running, biking and swimming. With ~300 days of sunshine in southern Spain and daytime winter temps often 59-68F this is a great place to train.
No HIM/IM experience, but I want it! Have completed numerous sprint and olympic tris. Runner since 1983, triathlete since 1987. Have completed numerous marathons and ultramarathons.
Goals: Complete my first HIM in 2010, IM in 2011 with respectable times.
I look forward to racing with the EN Team.
