Currently driving across the desert with Ambrose and we are scheming this whole thing. And Ambrose says he's gonna take down Alexander next year by simply riding a single-gear fixy.
As far as buying beers at the EN post race celebration - you guys are going to have to stay up late....

Bryan - welcome to the OLD DUDES ROCK team!!!! I agree, the young ones may have to get an ok to stay up past bed time. I figure we head from drinks to the finishers gear line that will form about 6:00. We can send the you ones to go get coffee.
I assume this is all inclusive ... If you're an ENer doing IM AZ 2011, you're on a team.
Since an Oracle is all knowing, all seeing, I'll refrain from any smack talk now. When the time is right, I'll just tell you what the final score will be.
Where was all this smack talk for 2010?! I love the mojo you guys got going on...2011 is going to rock!
Paul – I agree, the 2011 AZ team is lucky to have this going for them – I hope we keep it up through to race day.
Personally – this thread has already made me think about what do I have to do to help the old dues ROCK the day! We all known (or will shortly learn) how long the OS can be from a mental perspective. I take this as another weapon in my mental 6 pack when those intervals get REAL!! Thanks EN for providing this motivation. – Back to smack talk!! The Oracle (AL) has seen the outcome and though smartly won’t say, he can sleep well.

OLD DUDES RULE yes 5 woots!! just getting warmed up
I can't believe the mojo going in here already for 2011! It's so exciting! I'm starting to be disappointed that I didn't sign up. I will be there to cheer you guys on next year, though.
Alright, someone needs to make some of those cool graphics for the "young pup" and "old fogie" teams, that goes into our forum signatures. Combine it with some IMAZ symbols, like a cactus - or a tornado (given the conditions this last time).

Arent all you youngins good with that computer thingy, us old farts can't figure that out.
What a great thread and challenge - you guys just made me go check out to see if any spots still available....might have to think about a Foundation slot - Will have to see if can get some of this smack talk going for IMCDA - maybe need to get "The Oracle" involved!
IMAZ 2011 is my year to volunteer and return mojo that was put my way on race day. I do know of a few others that are racing that haven't steped up yet.
@Scott - I rode some of the IMAZ course today, real course video on CT, and visualized I was lapping you . You know what they say....visualize and it will occur.

As opposed to the battery-assisted wheels that you guys will need?!?
Seriously though, mine are ALL Zipp training wheels! Carbon !!
More to come.
Old age and treachery will trump youth any day.
Al - I definitely have a few pounds I will happily give you.

Did I see on FB that Marianne Park was in too?

Did some quick images. Let me know what you think.

Happy Thanksgiving!
David – your are talented!!! I like both. The cane resonates with me at the end of an IM run!
The only improvement may be a pacifier for one of the kids – I won’t name names!!!!!
On second look - how about “Ironman Arizona “in white letters going vertical in the center of the cactus?
David - the update looks good !
